Hey! Welcome to the first ever post on the Book Freak. My name is Lily, I'm 13 years old and live in Maryland. My hope for this Blog is to write about some good books. I won't be doing Harry Potter, The Hunger Games or Twilight. Instead, I'd like to focus on new, interesting books that need more attention than they deserve. Don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE Suzanne Collins fan. But don't you kinda think everyone has done those books.I'm a member of an advanced reader's group, so some of the books I read won't be on the shelves for months. Lots of authors come my way, so in addition I'll be covering book talks (I've met Lauren Myraclr, Sarah Dessen, Melissa Marr, Kenneth Oppel and Cassandra Clare to name a few). On my to read list right now: Guantanamo Boy by Anna Perera, Sidekicks by Jack D. Ferraiolo and Chime by Franny Billingsley. Happy Reading!
